Working on political design projects holds a special place in my heart as it aligns with my values and principles. Being able to use my creative skills to contribute to important causes and amplify important messages is both rewarding and fulfilling. Of all the projects I've worked on, I am particularly proud of the political design work I've done. It not only challenged me to think critically and creatively, but it also allowed me to make a positive impact on society. Seeing my work translate into real-world outcomes and being part of a movement for positive change has been a truly humbling experience.
The Work
While working at Southern Majority, I collaborated closely with candidates to craft compelling campaign visuals, ensuring that all materials were delivered on time and met the necessary specifications. My responsibilities included creating a wide range of print materials, such as direct mail pieces, signs, walk cards, and banners, as well as developing digital presentations to support the campaign's messaging. I also took on a leadership role, managing and guiding freelance designers, consultants, and vendors to ensure the success of each project, maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency across all campaign outputs.
